oh, the ya;umba viognier is quite a staple at our house, too! great wine, i agree about the fruitiness although i'd give it more mango and canteloupe... not too sure about matching it with food, but a great wine to drink without - or with some roast cashews and some melon dice with balsmic vinegar perhaps.

Lenn

Tsk tsk tsk. Whatever will the WBW Punishment Committee do to you?!?!

:) Just don't forget 8/10...WBW #12...Drink Local. Real Local.

Jeanne

Hi Johanna

Yes - I can imagine it beign a wine that's lovely to drink on its own as well - there is more than enough to keep the palate interested there! Mmm, like to sound of Viognier and cashews!

Hi Lenn
What can I say... mea culpa once again!! I just thought it was silly to have tasting notes and pictures and not to post them in some form. Didn't even try to pretend it was an entry anymore! I have already started researching my wine for next week and I have a pretty shrewd idea of what I'll be having. See you then!

NoMerlot.com

Yalumba got a B+ rating at NoMerlot.com. Also, if you have trouble findng this wine at your local wine store, try the NoMerlot.com wine store, as we can gets cases of most any wine. :)
