Organic candy for my buddy Nick? Wow! You seem to not be too tired after your US-Mexican trip. that's awesome. Once again it was absolutely great having you guys here in San Diego and seeing my Varsity buddy after so many years. Keep on feeding him the good stuff. The meal you prepare here was awesome, and probably the last decent homecooked meal I'll have ubtil I go back to South africa or someone comes to visit. Take care!

Holy Crap Jeanne! That stuff sounds awful! And if I'm not mistaken, Titanium dioxide is put in paint to make it white. Yummy. Thanks for hosting on Saturday, it was a blast to meet you and Nick even if my shoulder was bothering me. Cheers.

Hi StClaire
Good to see yuo are still keeping up with the blog reading, even when I'm not blogging on your premises!! ;-) Once again, staying with yuo was a total blast and I can't WAIT to come and visit again! But now it's YOUR turn to come and visit us in London and enjoy my home-cooked food every night!

Hi Todd
Hmmm, yes, I believe you are right about titanium dioxide. Very scary. Great to meet you too and I hope you had as much fun as we had. Look forward to the next one ;-)

hi cooksister!

yes, tartrazine is beleived to cause some reactions and headaches in children...what disturbs me more is to see ponceau s and brilliant blue r - we use them in the lab to stain for proteins!

titanium dioxide is also found in shampoos and other hair products...
