Isn't it ironic that a fellow Aussie has to go to London before I can get to see a picture of her?!!! Loved the pizzas, most interesting.

Sarah

I like the Lom Bok. The looks and the more when you described that the prawns were really amazing. I am hungry.

francis

wow!!

Just by looking it made me hungry..yum2x, I tried cooking once but it fails..I love the food but the food doesn't love me huhu...

Stephanie

You got to meet Niki!? How wonderful!

I wish her group would tour the US...sigh.

Simonetta

I am envious. Next time, girls, can you make sure to forward me a note? I'd love to join in!

Mmm the Lombok looks and sounds the most appetising out of the three. Strange that they used hoisin sauce for the base though since hoisin is a very sweet sauce. I'm very intrigue with the combo might have to try and replicate this one day. :)

Jeanne

Hi Neil
Ironic indeed!! But see what fun you would have if *you* came over to visit?! We're a very hospitable lot over here ;-)

Hi Sarah
Oh, those prawns were phenomenal - so juicy and so delicious with the hoi sin sauce. Sigh.

Hi Francis
It's a good thing you can only see the pics, not smell the pizzas too - then you'd be takign a bite out of your computer screen!

Hi Stephanie
Hmmm, you should have a word with Niki - I wonder if they can be persuaded to visit the US? We had a great evening - always so much to talk about when food bloggers meet up ;-)

Hi Simonetta
We would love to include you next time :-) For the meanwhile, check out my post on upcoming food blogger events - maybe you can join us at one of those?

Hi Ilingc
The Lombok was really delicious. The hoi sin actually worked really well in a kind of sweet 'n sour way with the sweet prawn meat. I think tomato would have been too strident here. I am a great fan of playing with the traditional tomato sauce pizza base - alternatives that I have used successfully are basil pesto and black olive tapenade. Mmmmmmm!

Mukiwa

Hullo.. I tried Fire and Stone and have to say that it was pretty awful. The pizza bases were akin to Tesco value specials. I think you're being exceedingly generous in your comments!

Belinda

Hi! I did try looking for your post about the night (assuming you'd do one) and Niki just passed it on. It was lovely meeting you and Johanna, albeit very briefly, and I'm sorry I couldn't join you for pizzas. The other dinner at the Wellington was good too but this sounds delicious!

Helen

Sorry to hear that the Byron Bay pizza disappointed, although truth be told, I think that that probably rings true these days anyway :)

Most pleased that someone ordered a pavlova too. Sounds you guys had a ball. Ahhh the wonders of international foodblogging!
