One of the most ubiquitous items on sale at the Oktoberfest would have to be the gingerbread heart - they are EVERYWHERE!! They range in size from approximately a side plate to a tea tray and all bear little iced slogans in German, along the lines of "I'm still dreaming of you", "My heart is in Munich" or simply "Ich liebe dich".
