One of the many simple but deeply satisfying dishes available in the Wiesn tents. It looks like half a pig and that's probably not far off. I believe the correct term is roast pork knuckle - my term would be "pork crackling lightly flavoured with pork meat". Check out also the giant dumpling on the left and in the background are the white tureens in which the Weisswurst are served.
